DIY: Holiday Sharpie Mugs

Hey dolls <3

I wanted to share with you guys this simple and easy DIY holiday gift idea I have seen on Pinterest. I have been on a DIY(ing) addiction lately and this year I wanted to give my fellow co-workers some cute personal gifts.
I saw the sharpie mug idea on Pinterest and instantly feel in love. Its easy, affordable and personal. You can be creative and add a personal touch to it. Those are my favorite kind of gifts anyways.
Here what you will need:
Sharpie (I used black but you can use different colors)
White mug (got mine at the Dollar store)
Paper
Scissors
Optional: Cocoa or any kind of gift

Step 1: Pre heat your oven to 350 degrees. Fold your paper in half and draw half of a mustache. Its really easy to do. Use a pencil in case you mess up.

Step 2: Lay your cup down and put your mustache cut out on top. Make sure that you are putting the mustache on the front side of the cup. You can use a piece of tape to hold the mustache from moving. Then simply take your sharpie and trace it around the outside of the mustache.

Step 3: Fill in the inside with your sharpie. This is the time to fix anything that you want fixing. Take your time don't rush.

Step 4: You are done :) For the love mug I just made sure I found my center and wrote in the way I wanted "love" to look. I added the tea bag on the side because it looks so cute. Again you can personalize your mug anyway you want :)

Step 5: Place your mugs into your pre heated oven and leave for 30 minutes. This helps the marker to dry and stay put.

Step 6: Now you can decorate your little mugs anyway you wish!!! Its a great inexpensive and thoughtful gift to someone.

Please let me know if you try this gift out and tag me on IG if you take any pics #alanamariestyle.

Love ya dolls <3

NEUTROGENA HOLIDAY BEAUTY: INSIDE AND OUT LOOK

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Neutrogena and Latina Bloggers Connect but all opinions expressed are 100% my own. <3 (#NTGHolidayBeauty #ad)

This holiday season is going to be kind of sad for me. I will only be seeing my family Christmas eve night and will be driving back home Christmas day :/ At work I was not granted the day after Christmas off so I have to drive back. I'm kinda sad because its my nephew's 1st Christmas and its going to be special but that's life sometimes right?!

So anyways back to beauty :) This year my Holiday look will be toned down tremendously since I will be probably just hanging out at my parents house. I was given this wonderful chance to show you a full look using these Neutrogena products.

I will be showing you a before/after look and then a final look :) So vamos a empezar :)

*********************************************************************************

Step 1: I always wash my face in the morning and use a makeup wipe to remove any residue that built up over night. I loveeee makeup wipes and these Neutrogena ones I have bought for years. They leave my face feeling so soft afterwards.

Step 2: I then applied Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid foundation. I honestly bought this foundation last summer and I bought the wrong color. I am one of those people that hates to return stuff so its sitting in my makeup drawer un- touched. (rolls eyes) So when I tried out this one I was so excited that the color matched my skin. The color is natural beige. Its a great foundation! Since my skin is dry I need a foundation with a dewy finish and its medium to build-able full coverage.

Step 3: I pretty much applied everything else. I used the Neutrogena crease proof eyeshadow. It was a sparkly neutral color. Very subtle and natural. You could use this alone or as a base. For mascara I used the Healthy Lengths brown-black mascara. For a natural look using a brown colored mascara looks quite beautiful. I applied a peachy blush on my cheeks and to finish the look I used the Moisture Smooth Colorstick in Peach Mango. This a great lip product. It gives a stained lip look and has great pigmentation.

So  now I am ready for my Holiday Party at Mami and Papis!!!! LOL. If your interested in more detailed product information check out the Neutrogena site: http://bit.ly/StAxde

Despite all my whining I am super excited for the Holidays :)) Are you guys excited for the Holidays too!? Let me know what beauty looks you have in mind for your upcoming holiday party(s) :)

Hasta la próxima mi amores,
