Faux Leather Skort

In recent seasons leather has been one of the hottest trends on both the runways and real life style. But to be practical most of us can't shell out hundreds of dollars on leather pieces but don't worry faux leather can look just as good and half the price.
This post was styled around this faux leather skort from Zara. I love this piece because it just adds edge and is perfect for transitioning day to night. I kept the palette simple with a sheer white tank and a black sporty bra underneath. To add some print I wore these leopard Lolashoetique heels.

I hope you guys all had a wonderful weekend!!! Please leave me a comment below and let me know what look you would like to see next and don't forget to Subscribe to my blog for notifications and updates!

Summer Neon

Dress: Dynamite Clothing c/o (click here) / Heels: Zara /
Accessories: H&M /

Neon colors are such summer colors. They are bright, fun and happy colors. I love this slip dress from Dynamite Clothing. I love the flowy cut and woven back. The woven back adds that little element of sex appeal to the dress which I love. It would love beautiful with your hair up too!
This dress can be worn as a cover up to the beach (which would look amazing btw) or like how I did; a statement necklace and heels.
With the summer months being so hot and humid a dress like this is perfect. I absolutely love it and right now its actually on sale on their site!
I can't believe retail sites are already preparing for fall collection! This year is just flying by!!

I hope you loves enjoyed this post. Let me know in the comment bow down below any requests you may have and I will see  you all next time!!!!

How to style: Jeggings

Top: Zara / Jeggings: Zara / Heels: Zara /
Bag: Aldo / Accessories: H&M /

The love child of both jeans and leggings were born I was in heaven. You take two of my favorite pieces and put them together and you have comfort and denim. I love these denim ripped jeggings from Zara because they don't look like your ordinary jeggings. They are a thicker material than your ordinary jeggings and with the touch of distress it adds an edge to them.
I want this look to be a little sexier so I wore a crossed back strap tank top. I love this blush toned color as well because it adds femininity to the look.
I kept the accessories light with a wide cuff that I pushed up further my arm and a pair of dangling earrings.

I hope you dolls had a great 4th of July weekend with your family and loved ones. I had a great relaxing time with no cell phone or iPad and it was nice to ease my mind and relax.
Now its back to the grind! LOL

Sleeveless Blazer Swag

Hey beauties <3 Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I went to NYC on Sunday for a Blogger Meet Up Brunch w/ some amazing, intelligent and beautiful Latinas at Preserve 24 restaurant. It was such a great experience to meet other women that share the same passion as you. Check out some pics down below!
Crisp and clean is my motto for summer. The sleeveless blazer is one of my favorite items in my closet. I am totally on the hunt for a black one. This look would have looked too casual and blahhh without the vest over it. Sometimes a little layering can really change an outfit!

The Lolashoetique heels are amazing. I have another look in mind for them soon. They are unbelievably comfortable as well.

Pictured with Yessenia (beautybeyondfashion.com) and Claudia (thepennycloset.com)

Claudia (who is from LA) put the whole brunch together and I am so thankful to her! It was a great time and I made some great friends! Thanks Girl xo

I hope you guys enjoyed this post!!! Until next time

DIY: How To Get Smooth Soft Skin & Help Treat Eczema

Hey Guys,

Transitioning from jeans to shorts can be scary at first. But if you get your skin ready for the move it will be easier. We all have different skin issues that may make us insecure, and while it’s easy to hide them in the winter, there is no hiding them in the summer. Here’s my story on how Lavender oil helped with my skin insecurities!

I usually don’t share my personal issues, but it’s the only way I can explain how amazing this next skin care tip is. I have very dry skin, and as if that wasn’t enough, I also recently got something called Atopic Dermatitis. This is another form of eczema that includes itchiness and red dots in areas such as my legs and wrists. Sexy right? Not at all! I became really insecure and began wearing sweaters to cover my wrists while continuing to wear jeans. (Luckily, my job is always cold so I didn’t look too crazy!) Then one day my mother came home with Lavender oil because she read that it helps with arthritis pain. As an oil enthusiast, I looked into it to learn more, and I learned that lavender oil is great for fighting acne, wrinkles, anxiety, insomnia, and sensitive or dry skin. I thought what do I have to lose by trying this on my own skin?  I began mixing lavender and almond oil and putting it on my skin after every shower (didn't touch any other moisturizer). In a week and a half my legs were the clearest I’ve ever seen them! The rashes were gone, I didn’t itch anymore and all the random bumps I used to get were gone. I now use this as my lotion and it has been amazing!

What you need:
Lavender oil= the pure oil or the aromatherapy kind that is already saturated with other oils. I use the aromatherapy kind because that’s what I had at home.
Almond oil=(Get it at Trader Joes or any grocery store)

**If you get pure lavender oil, make sure you mix it with the almond oil. Do not put it on your skin without mixing it**

A little goes a long way. I make a small amount.
½ tsp of almond oil
¼ tsp of Lavender oil
Even though this was a positive experience for me, we all have different kinds of skin. I would recommend trying a spot on your skin first—just to see how your skin will react.

Orange and Leopard

Top: Zara / Skirt: Zara / Heels: Zara/
Bag: Rebecca Minkoff / Watch: Michael Kors / Lipstick: MAC Morange /

Orange is a hot color for summer this year!! You can rock a orange lip, dress, heels or bag style the trend this summer. Oh and btw this is a 2 Part look. Same look going from casual to dressed up. I love a look that you can wear during the day shopping or running errands and then put on a pair of heels for a dinner date or night out. I also love a colorful pair of heels. They just have that POW factor.
