Hola!
When you live in a cold winter climate a warm good coat is necessary! I have been on the hunt for years for a sophisticated warm wool coat. I was so happy when I found this one from Zara. I love the fold over collar and drawstring waist.

On a makeup sidenote I have been in love with the Kat Von D Lolita lipstick. Its matte and long lasting just how I like it. I have been loving matte lipsticks lately.

Oh and just to share with you guys I just started watching Jane The Virgin and I am obsessed! Its so stinkin cute and hilarious. Have you dolls watched it yet?

Say hola to one of my favorite pieces in my closet. I got this poncho from Macys and I couldn't tell you how happy I am that I have this piece in my life. It is so cozy and I just love the colorful bold prints. It makes my look pop and when I want to be lazy I just wear something simple and put this bad boy over it.

Happy 2015 dolls!!! This is my first look for the New Year. A sophisticated look thats will keep me slightly warm for these chilly winter days (I mean its not a coat but its cute!). Camel is a gorgeous color for winter. Its classy and works well with other neutral colors. In this look I wore basically all my favorite colors: camel, grey and of course black.

I am loving knee length sweaters. I can't wait to wear it as a sweater dress alone for you guys. Just waiting for some warmer weather. LOL! I will definitely be wearing this camel vest a lot more on the blog. Its so gorgeous and versatile and my favorite part... it has pockets. :) YES! Score!

I hope you all are sticking to your New Years Resolution! I know I am so far! LOL #thestruggle ;)

Tips To Making your New Years Resolutions!

2015 to do list:

1.) Make a goals list
  • I love to do this because it gives me something to look forward to. I like to make smaller goals that are reachable. For example I could say I would like my blog to reach over 10,000 visitors a month. Create goals that have a meaningful meaning to them for yourself. Don't do generic ones. Make ones that are meaningful to you.

2.) Get a new agenda book or calendar
  • This helps me organize my life/schedule shoots/jot down ideas that come to me/appointments/date night w the hubby. Life can get crazy and things come up unexpectedly that can throw off your routine but having a agenda book will help you not to lose focus or forget things.

3.) Closet clean
  • I love to go through my closet and get rid of items that I tend to hoard. Try to clean out the really old itemss that you have had for years and donate them or throw away if they are in really bad shape. Closet cleaning makes me feel light and ready for a new year :)

4.) Self reflection
  • Write in a little notebook and take some time all to yourself and reflect on the past year. Write down your mistakes and trials. Get rid of the negativity in your life and work on making yourself happier.  Start off the new year in a positive way and get rid of the negative in your life!

5.) Finance.
  • Set up a savings account or bank account and get yourself to put away money every two weeks, weekly, monthly whatever and develop a routine. Its a great feeling to know that you have money saved away so you can take that trip you wrote in your goal book or if something unexpected happens you have money to save the day! If your a fashion spender like myself try to cut back and make more smarter decisions on shopping.

6.) Healthy life style.
  • The most common new year resolution is always to lose weight. We see it at the gym from the month of January to March is probably the most busiest time in the gym. Everyone is there to lose weight. If that is your goal then lets work on making it serious. First lets eat healthier. Go to the grocery store and buy more fruit and veggies. Create a meal plan that works for you. Don't follow crazy diets and spend a ton of money. Start the year off with a plan. I like to take a before and after pic. So I take a pic of myself when I start and then a month after take another one. Its a good reminder and a great push to stay focus.
  • Start with working out at home and create a set time for yourself to do this. Once you see your drive and commitment then enroll to the gym so you can have access to the bigger stuff such as weights and machines. By this point you will be feeling great and on your way to fulfill your personal goals.
I hope these tips help you all to achieve your 2015 goals. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe New Years! I wish nothing but more happiness, success and health for you all into the new year. Stay kind and positive and don't listen to the nay sayers and follow your dreams <3

This year I made it my priority to push myself in pursuing my dreams and I have all of you to thank for the progress and encouragement! Love you all.

My favorite part of getting ready for New Years is doing my makeup. I usually save pictures online and prepare what look I want to do before hand. So I wanted to post all the pictures that i have saved from online and hopefully some of these looks will inspire some of you as well. :)

Black and Grey

I loveeeee this shoot!!! The beautiful light snowflakes all around photographed beautifully. I can't wait for Christmas and I love shooting looks like this. I love layering and looking stylish while being all bundled up and warm.

This leather jacket from Zara is everything to me right now.
Its so sleek and edgy and has enough arm room for me to wear sweaters underneath. And can we talk about this hat?! Because of this hat I might have a slight hat obsession now!

A big cozy scarf is a must especially if you live where I live! LOL This one from Zara is so warm and stylish. You can even wear it as a wrap! I know I look cray cray for wearing peep toe booties but my feet weren't that cold surprisingly.

I really truly hope you guys liked this look. Thank you for supporting me and leaving me such lovely comments lately. I love replying back to you all.
