Weekend Recap 4/27/2013: Sister Baby Shower

I got a bad case of the Mundaysss!!! LOL just saw Office Space the other day and had to say it :)
But this weekend I went back to my hometown of Rochester, NY to help out and attend my sister baby shower. Its the first child being born in my immediate family so we are all very excited and anxious.
I helped my mom choose a Rubber Duck theme shower because it thought it was fun, boyish and something easy to decorate.
We bought clear bowls from Family Dollar and rubber ducks from Target and with blue food coloring changed the water blue so it looked like the little ducky was in a pond :)
The cake was a gift to my sister from my boyfriend and I and it is from a bakery where I live called LaSalle's Bakery. It was double layered with chocolate on the bottom and vanilla on top. It was delicious!!!!!!!! Buenisimo!

Photo Diaries: Weekend Recap

Well unfortunately another weekend came and gone by again! :( I feel as if the year is flying by already. 

This weekend was so fun because I got to return to my favorite place in the world: Fenway Park. For those of you that might not be familiar with Fenway Park it is one of the oldest baseball stadium's left in the US. 

Walking into Fenway Park feels as if you are walking back in time. The stadium feels old and timeless. No fancy food vendors or attractions to distract you from the baseball game. It is what it is: a Baseball Park. Good old Fenway Franks, hot clam chowder and the Red Sox. If your a baseball lover like myself its magical. 

So I have posted some pictures for you to see one of America's most beloved baseball parks :)
