Trendy Tuesday: ankle strap heels

Happy Tuesday loves! First I want to announce that I am an Aunt :) My younger sister had a baby boy May 16 and over the weekend I drove to my hometown to see him for the first time and it was love at first sight. I have to admit thought was nervous to hold him because he was so small and I felt he was so fragile. But he is just the cutest thing ever!

Okay back to fashion. Another hot trend out is ankle strap heels. I love them and make any girls legs and outfit look sexy. Anyone can find a pair that will match their style. And don't be scared of their uncomfortable looking exterior they are actually quite comfortable.
What I also love about the ankle strap is how they are so versatile. You can literally wear them so many different ways: jeans, shorts, skirts or a dress. Everybody has jumped on the trend from Prabal Gurung to Gucci to SteveMadden.

Happy Mother's Day ❤

I wanted to take the time out to say Happy Mother's Day to all the special Moms out there. It's a special thing when your a mom and even though I'm not a Mom yet I still love, respect and appreciate motherhood.
I want to give a special Mother's Day shout out to my own mother. She's my world and as I have gotten older I have respected, appreciated and loved her even more. I was a big pain in the ass when I was younger especially as a teenager rebeling, trying to find who I am and fighting with my mom constantly but I went through and matured.
I love her so much and I'm so thankful for all she has done for me ❤

MAC RIRI WOO LIPSTICK: Review, Swatches & DEMO

Mac does it AGAIN! Another celebrity added to the growing list of celebrity collaborative makeup line. Rihanna was definitely an artist that I knew MAC couldn't wait to get together with. Rihanna is known for her love for MAC Ruby Woo lipstick. Its a staple red lipstick for her and it was genius for MAC to make her apart of the MAC family.

Riri Woo ($15.00 USD) is the name of her signature new red lipstick. Its similar to Ruby Woo but has been classified as a retro matte lipstick. The lipstick also has Rihanna signature engraved right on the tube.

The color is a classic matte red with blue undertones. It just reminds me of old Hollywood 1950s era (which is my favorite era) with classic beauties such as Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Grace Kelly and Sophia Loren.

Even though this color is right on exact with Ruby Woo (which I don't own but have swatched it at a MAC counter) if your a Rihanna fan and you don't already own Ruby Woo its a must have buy. 2013 Met Gala Fashion

Last night was the 2013 Met Gala and what a night of fashion it was! The women pulled out sex appeal, crazy hair looks and punk rock themes of studs and ear cuffs. 

They turned that glamorous costume ball out and have it an edgy twist this year and I loved every piece of it. They looked like they had fun and didn't care what others thought! Thumbs up ladies. 

Check out some of my fav looks and the women that worked the carpet. 

These are my three tops picks. There were others that I loved but these ladies killed it to me. Both Rooney and Beyonce are wearing Givenchy and Anne is wearing Valentino but that hair just did for me! She looks great! 

Dark lips again seem like the beauty trend for a lot of women on the carpet. even in the spring time you can still rock your Mac Rebel and Diva lipstick ladies. 

Ear cuffs is another trend that I haven't tried yet because I feel like it will hurt!! Lol but it adds a great element of edge to your ensemble and both Jessica and Elle did just that. 

Miley pulled out the stops to take us back to the 90s with her punk look. I applaud her for her bravery and taking a risk. What do you guys think of Miley's look?! 

Trendy Tuesday: Crop Tops

Okay so I am going to begin with posting every Tuesday a trend post because I love seeing what's trendy and what crazy things celebrities are wearing now. Remember just because its trendy doesn't mean you have to like it or wear it. That's what makes fashion so amazing because its all about individuality.
Back to trends: Crop Tops. These are definitely not going away this year. My personal opinion I love them. If you've been working out hard crop tops are def your time to show your hard work off but still leaving some for the imagination.
Crop tops can be worn with anything high waisted that when I think they look the best. High waisted shorts, skirts, pants and jeans. Have fun with them because now they come in so many styles and colors.
